I got back from Vermont last night. It was so cool. We left on Friday morning. The car ride was really cramped. Our Suburban fits 8 people, and we had 7 in it. We got to stay at a hotel, and it was really cool. My mom booked the room for 2 adults and 2 children, but it was technically (counting Isaac as an adult) 3 adults and 4 children. The weekend was fun. I'm going to miss Isaac, though. This whole thing was to bring him down to Norwich University. The campus is so cool, and the cafeteria food was amazing. The University was founded in 1819, and started the ROTC program. Isaac got in on a $100,000 Air Force scholarship and a $50,000 scholarship from the school. They have this huge library with a small museum next to it. I really wanted to look at them, but they weren't open. Oh, well. We got to go to the Ben & Jerry's factory, and the von Trapp Family Lodge. In the many car rides, we saw a bunch of buildings with beautiful architecture, and the views in/of the mountains are breath taking. In the book store on campus, they had work/textbooks for levels 1 and 2 integrated Chinese. That made me happy. While Isaac was going through some papers to find important stuff, and he found his knife. They wouldn't allow him to have it there, so he gave it to me. I really am going to miss him. I cried while the rooks were marching out of the Kreitzburg Arena. I won't see him for 3 months, until Thanksgiving vacation. While we were driving back last night, we saw a moose. In New Hampshire. Us kids have lived in Maine for 8 years, our mom for was longer, and the first time any of us saw a moose was in New Hampshire! Seriously, what the hell? Oh, well. Whatever. I'll miss Isaac. He was my favorite brother.
